Ajax ReX is an intelligent radio signal range extender for Ajax security systems, designed to boost the range of devices and expand the protected area in large properties. It can operate as an autonomous group of devices and transmits alarms in less than 0.3 seconds.
Main Features and Characteristics
The Ajax ReX extender manages the devices connected to it, allowing them to be placed at a considerable distance from the control panel (hub), for example, in multi-story offices or detached buildings within the same premises.
- Communication Range: Increases the maximum communication distance between devices and the hub up to 1800 meters (in an open space).
- Scalability: Up to 5 range extenders can be connected to a single Ajax security system, expanding the radio network coverage up to 35 km².
- Autonomy: Equipped with a built-in Li-Ion 2 A·h battery, providing up to 35 hours of autonomous operation if the main power supply is lost.
- Reliability: Runs on OS Malevich, protected from viruses, cyber-attacks, and signal jamming. All transmitted data is encrypted.
- Second Hub Function: If the connection with the main hub is interrupted, ReX can take control of its connected sensors, activating the siren to alert to an incident.
- Simple Installation: Connection and configuration are done via the Ajax mobile application by scanning a QR code. The device is fixed onto the SmartBracket mounting panel without disassembling the body.
