Key Features of Ajax Hub Hybrid
- Hybrid Connectivity: This is the main selling point. The hub supports two primary communication protocols:
- – Jeweller (Wireless): The proprietary, fast, and reliable wireless protocol for connecting wireless detectors (motion, door/window, smoke, etc.)
- – Fibra (Wired): A new generation of wired technology that allows for organizing extensive security systems over long distances (up to 2000 meters of cable) while maintaining minimal power consumption and high reliability.
- Multiple Communication Channels: To ensure uninterrupted connectivity and alarm delivery, the Hub Hybrid uses up to three independent communication channels:
- – Ethernet (primary internet connection)
- – Two SIM card slots (2G or 4G/LTE versions available) for cellular backup.
- Photo Verification of Alarms: The hub is compatible with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor wireless detectors. In the event of an alarm, these sensors capture and send a series of photos, allowing users and monitoring station operators to quickly assess the situation and rule out false alarms.
- Automation and Scenarios: Users can create up to 32 (or 64 for the Hub Hybrid 2 model) automation scenarios. This allows the system to automatically control lights, electric locks, water shut-off valves, or other appliances in response to security events or a schedule.
- Remote Management: The entire system is configured and managed via intuitive Ajax PRO mobile and desktop applications. This provides remote control, monitoring, and maintenance capabilities.
- Sabotage Protection: The system is protected by encryption, authentication, jamming detection, and tamper switches on the body to prevent unauthorized access or interference.
- Backup Power: In case of a main power outage, the hub can operate for extended periods using a backup 12V battery (purchased separately), lasting up to 60 hours (or up to 200 hours with power saving features).
Scalability and Capacity
The Ajax Hub Hybrid can support:
- Up to 100 (or up to 250 for the Hub Hybrid 2 model) wired and wireless Ajax devices.
- Up to 25 cameras or DVRs (supports third-party IP cameras via RTSP, as well as integrations with brands like Dahua and Hikvision).
- Up to 50 users and 9 security groups.
The hub runs on the OS Malevich real-time operating system, which receives automatic over-the-air updates, ensuring the system remains current and secure.
