The “Muratsan” University Hospital Complex is one of the largest medical institutions in Armenia, where hundreds of patients, visitors, and medical staff members are served daily.
Within the framework of the project, a comprehensive modernization of the security infrastructure of various buildings and departments of the hospital complex was carried out.
Ensuring a high level of security in such institutions is of crucial importance both for the protection of human life and health, and for safeguarding medical equipment and infrastructure.
For this purpose, a comprehensive security system was implemented using Ajax fire alarm systems.
Even a small fire outbreak in medical institutions can pose a serious threat to patients and staff. It was necessary to ensure rapid detection of smoke and temperature changes.
Hospital operations cannot be interrupted due to installation works. The implementation of the systems had to be carried out without disrupting medical processes.
The complex includes areas with different functions—patient rooms, corridors, laboratories, administrative sections, and technical rooms—each requiring different security approaches.
It was necessary to ensure full visual coverage of critical areas and secure storage of video recordings for further analysis.
A wireless Ajax fire alarm system was installed to ensure early detection of smoke and temperature changes, as well as immediate alerts.
High-resolution TVT cameras were installed to enable 24/7 continuous monitoring of the hospital premises.
A unified control environment was created, integrating fire alarm signals and video surveillance data into a single system for centralized security management.
A detailed audit of the hospital premises was conducted, based on which a comprehensive design for the installation of Ajax fire alarm and TVT video surveillance systems was developed.
Appropriate Ajax sensors, hubs, and TVT cameras were selected and supplied according to the security requirements of each zone.
The equipment was installed and the systems were integrated with the existing infrastructure without disrupting the hospital’s operations.
Comprehensive system testing was carried out, including troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and staff training, ensuring that all systems were fully operational and ready for use.
The implementation of Ajax fire alarm systems and TVT video surveillance solutions at the “Muratsan” University Hospital Complex enabled the creation of a modern, reliable, and scalable security environment.
The project successfully addressed the key challenges related to fire safety and video surveillance, providing enhanced protection for the hospital’s staff, patients, and assets while ensuring a higher level of operational security and situational awareness.
